Landin's 5th birthday

For Landins' birthday this year he wanted a dinosaur/t-rex theme. I didn't want to try to make a cake so I bought one at the grocery store. They didn't have a dinosaur but had a safari looking one. I had them take out the road with the jeep and instead I bought plastic dinosaurs to put around. It turned out so cute. He was pretty excited to have his first birthday party, he invited a couple friends from his preschool and some from church. He had a blast and got some fun presents. I can't believe he is 5!

Landin's preschool graduation

This year Landin was able to attend a preschool that my good friend teaches. Blake went there last year and so this year was Landins' turn. He loved going there to see his friends. He made so many improvements in writing his name and knowing the sounds of the alphabet. He is definitely ready for kindergarten!

my little Angels

This year Blake and Landin were able to play tee-ball together. They ended up on the Aneheim Angels. Landin especially thought it was cool since he was born in Anaheim and we got to see the Angels' play there. They both played really well. I think Blake enjoyed it more than Landin. Landin has a hard time when he doesn't catch the ball or when he gets out and Blake is just a natural athlete like his dad.

What is up your nose?

One afternoon the boys were playing outside and they came in and said that Jeren had put a rock up his nose. I looked up his nose and couldn't see anything so I figured that it fell out. Well a couple hours later we went to the store and I noticed him playing with his nose alot and when I looked up there was a rock up there. I couldn't get it out with my hands so I waited till we got home to use a tothpick or something. Jesse used his needlenosed pliers to get it out, it was hilarious!

Yum a McDonald's Cheeseburger!

We got Landin a cheeseburger and on the way to the store he started to fall asleep, eating the cheeseburger. His eyes were closed and his head was bobbing while he slowly took bites of his cheeseburger. Jesse and I couldn't stop laughing, I also got it on video. This isn't the first time he has fallen asleep eating food.

My big helper

Landin is such a big helper to me. Kira pooped her pants one day and he was sick of the smell so he started to change her diaper. He did a really good job at getting her clean. We still need to work on getting the diaper on good though. He loves being a big brother!

Mothers' Day

This mothers' day was so special. It started out with breakfast in bed, which I have never got before. I guess its because this time I was up with Kira all night I was still in bed when Jesse was serving breakfast to the kids. I got this cute family tree that I will put everyones pictures in. One of the frames has an engraving on both sides. One side says Happy Mothers' Day and the other says The Fairbanks Family. It is so pretty! I also got my favorite See's Candies "(not too good for my diet) and some beautiful roses. I love being a mother, everyday brings so much joy (well most of the time). I'm thankful that Heavenly Father sent me my 4 beautiful children!

Drag Queen

I went to go visit a friend one afternoon so I left the kids with Jesse and when I got back I was looking through the pictures on my camera and noticed this one of Jeren with lipstick all over his face. I didn't remember taking that picture, then Jesse told me that Jeren had gone thru my purse and found my lipstick and started smearing it all over his face. I'm so glad Jesse got a picture of it even though I would have been so mad at that moment because is was my Clinique lipstick that he destroyed.

Knocked out

One day the boys were playing baseball in the back yard with a friend. The next thing I knew Landin comes in all bloody and the boys said he got hit in the face with a bat. So many thoughts ran thru my mind, broken nose, cuncussion. When I got a chance to look closely he was missing a tooth. I got the tooth and it had the root and all. I ended up taking him to the emergency dentist to get x-rays to make sure there was no damage to his bone and everything looked fine. It was pretty bruised for a while and he was in a lot of pain. Well until Blake reminded him that the tooth fairy would be coming that night then his attitude changed. The things kids will do for money.

Kira's Blessing

Here are a couple pictures of Kira on her blessing day. We had so many family members come and support us, which was so nice. Especially since they had to get up early Sunday to come to the blessing. Kira looked so beautiful in her dress, her grandma Marilyn made it, it was beautiful. Our family picture was funny because Jeren totally did not want to participate so he had quite the attitude.

All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth

Blake has now lost his 2 front teeth. That makes 4 total. He had a hard time with the pronunciation of some words. He really enjoys putting his tongue in the hole where his teeth used to be. He especially loves when the tooth fairy comes, even though she is getting poor with all the lost teeth:)

So tired!

One day I was doing laundry and Jeren came in and sat under my feet. Next thing I knew he was falling asleep sitting up. His head would sway back and forth, he never did fall over. That would have been funny!

Jeren's 2nd Birthday

Jeren turned 2 on March 4. We celebrated at Grandma Marilyns' house in Chico California where all of his cousins could come. He had a good time especially since he got a new basketball hoop and ball. He loves basketball. When I was making his cake I got it all decorated and then left the room for a few minutes. When I got back Jeren had started eating his cake, so that's why there is a part of the cake demolished. Oh well.

Our Newest Addition

On March 10, 2008, Kira Lee Fairbanks came into this world. She was about a month early and wanted to get a head start on life. She was 5lbs 4oz and 17 inch. long. She was so tiny! Her brothers gladly welcomed her with open arms.
