Our first stop was Puerto Vallarta. We went zip linning in the jungles, wicked awesome!! It was the coolest experience EVER! I was a little freaked out at first, but then started to relax. The only bad thing was that I got bit by 20 mosquitos all over my legs. I looked like a leper or something, nasty and itchy!! It took 2 weeks or so for them to stop itching and to go away. After zip linning we wandered around the shops, beach, etc.
These spiders were everywhere!! They were about the size of my WHOLE hand, yuck!!
I look HOT with my helmet on!
We got to feed spider monkeys, they were so cute
My first time seeing an Iguana in the wild, pretty cool!
Jesse really liked this picture, can you tell why?
I had this guy make me a sea turtle, that was my souvenire.
Our boat at night, kind've cool.

Cruise-Life on board (200th post!!)
A few weeks ago Jesse and I had the opportunity to take a Mexican Riviera Cruise for our 10th anniversary! We had such a great time! We took a cruise for our honeymoon so we wanted to keep a tradition. It would be nice to take a cruise more than every 10 years, but time just seems to fly and with kids it gets difficult. Even though when I think about the next 10, Blake will be ready to go on a mission and I will have all teenagers!! That is scary. Anyways to start off my blogging of our cruise I will do some of the things on the boat and then our port stops. By the way, this is my 200th post! On the main deck there was a pool side theatre and the buffets.
Every evening our room stewerd would leave us a towel folded in a shape of an animal. The kids would have LOVED that!
Jesse got picked to go on the battle of the sexes show on the boat.
He's a winner!!
At one of the shows we went to, I loved this picture of us.
Formal night at dinner.
Naughty Jesse got a tattoo (not a real one ;) )
I think the middle guy is HOT!!
We cruised with some really good friends, The Gorze's and their awesome family.
Even on the ship I couldn't escape football.

Harvest
This year was so fun having a garden. I didn't get to plant everything I wanted, but I still got to do a few things. I did tomatoes, strawberries, green beans, zucchini, sunflowers and pumpkins. And I just planted onions since they are a spring/fall vegetable. Sunflowers in the garden area, they got HUGE!
Landins' big smile, a zucchini.
Mustache?
Pumpkins, almost ready for picking
Tomatoes not quite ready, but growing..

Oh Dear...
One morning I found Kira with scissors in her hand and a chunck of hair GONE. I ended up finding the missing hair...Atleast her hair is out of her face now.

Hitchin' a ride
Every time Jesse mows the lawn Kira jumps on for a ride. Most of the time she ends up falling asleep, it's so cute.

Blake's 9th Birthday Party
I seriously can't believe Blake is 9! He is everything I ever wanted for a first child. He is kind, gentle, thoughtful, smart, funny, athletic and so many more. And best of all he is a great example to his brothers and sister.
This year for his birthday he decided to have a BBQ themed party. I think I had more fun making the cake than Blake did eating it. Making the birthday cakes is my most favorite thing about birthday parties.
I did 2 sets of cupcakes, hamburgers and hotdogs. The hamburgers were made of nilla wafers, grasshopper cookies and colored frosting. The hot dogs were made of circus peanuts, softened caramel and colored frosting for ketchup and mustard. Then I made a hamburger cake, corn on the cob made from cupcakes and a hot dog cake made from a loaf cake and twinkies.

The Fairbanks Pumpkin Patch
Every year we usually go to the pumpkin patch and it's a lot of fun...This year we were able to grow our OWN pumpkin patch. It was fun to watch the whole process. Landin would be proud to say that it was from a single pumpkin seed that he planted in a cup in Kindergarten and then transplanted to our back yard. We ended up with 9+ pumpkins and there are still more growing. All our pumpkins on the porch...

Halloween Craftiness
I love crafts and so this year I decided to make a couple Halloween decorations. They were so easy and fun to make! The kids especially like the "spooky" tree.
