My Helper

On Friday while I was showering Landin changed Kira's diaper, got her dressed (a cute dress that was actually hard to get on) and picked out a matching hair clip, put her shoes on and was about ready to get her in the car. I got out of the shower and told him he had to wait till we were ready to go to the store. Anyways he ended up getting her in her seat and buckled and we headed to the store a little while later. He is always eager to help me!!

Like Father, Like Son

Yesterday, Blake was outside and noticed that the construction workers, that are building a house across the street, were working REALLY hard and looked thirsty. So he told me he was going to make them some lemonade. I told him that was so nice to go GIVE them something to drink. He said, "I'm not going to give it to them, they have to pay .25 a cup. I couldn't help but laugh. He is always looking for a way to make money. He ended up getting over $4! And that night we went to a dollar movie at the local dollar theatre and he bought the treats, how thoughtful.

Our New House

I know it's been a month since we moved in, but I had to post a few pictures of the house. There will be more to come.

The shutters almost ready to be installed.

Another living room picture, pre shutters installation.

Kira's chompers

Kira finally got all 4 teeth in at once, well almost at once. It was within 3 weeks that all four came in. Now she is getting to be a big girl.

4th of July Kiddos

I had to post these few pictures of the kids that I took for the 4th, it was amazing that they were all smiling at the same time.

This was one of the first times that Kira stood by herself without help.

4th of July

I am finally posting pictures of our 4th of July trip to my parents' house in Idaho. We had such a great time, the weather was pretty cooperative and of course there were many festivities to enjoy.

A beautiful sunset!

One day we had a boat race. The men/boys got pieces of wood to make their boats and headed down to the water so see whos was the fastest.

And their off...

Jesse's boat sank, oh well.

Blaske's boat won!

Scarecrow? It's freaky looking at it at night from the house. It sits down at the waterway and the light glows.

Movie night, since the weather got a little yucky.

Dad and his boys.

Landin was put to work pushing the lawn mower to the back yard, that was hard work!

Jeren was so excited that while he was running his pants fell down, he was yelling at me because he did not want me taking the picture.

Kira just haning out, waving to the boys as they ride on the four wheeler.

Trying to keep up, crawling is a little slow, especially on the rocks.

The boys could not wait to pick some strawberries, there were so many! You have to love fresh picked strawberries from the garden, yum yum.

Kira enjoying peach cobbler from the dutch oven, yum!

Kira at work

Which one, the phillips or the star shaped one? That is the question.
The other way, silly.

The day I set Kiras' bed up in her room I found her (naked after her bath) with 2 screwdrivers attempting to unscrew or screw, whichever one, the screws on her bed. It was cute to watch her concentrating so hard.

All Stitched Up

Right before we moved into our new house Blake fell on the dresser drawer corner and put a good little hole in his head. I debated whether or not to take him into the doctor, but it looked pretty deep so I took him in. He ended up getting 1 stitch is all. The best part was that he was able to take the tools, that they worked with on him, home. They said they could be used for fishing, that was even better. A week later, Jesse took the stitch out. Here are a few pics of the event.

Lightning

Last night around 12:30 am I looked outside and noticed lightning dancing across the sky, it was pretty impressive. I really wanted to see if I could get a shot with my camera, its pretty hard since its only in the sky for an instant. After about an hour I got a few good pics.

And Finally....

I can't believe it has been 3 weeks since I have last posted. Obviously we are in our new home now. It is so beautiful, I just love it!! A week after we moved in, we left for Alaska. Now we are back and I am trying to unpack from that trip and still unpacking the rest of the house. Jesse left for Cali the day after we got back from our trip, for work and play. He will be able to visit his family in Chico and even see our nephew be baptized, we wish we could be there. Anyways, needless to say we have been busy. I will hopefully get caught up on all our activites the past 3 weeks or so.
