Oh Dear...

One morning I found Kira with scissors in her hand and a chunck of hair GONE. I ended up finding the missing hair...Atleast her hair is out of her face now.

Hitchin' a ride

Every time Jesse mows the lawn Kira jumps on for a ride. Most of the time she ends up falling asleep, it's so cute.

Blake's 9th Birthday Party

I seriously can't believe Blake is 9! He is everything I ever wanted for a first child. He is kind, gentle, thoughtful, smart, funny, athletic and so many more. And best of all he is a great example to his brothers and sister.

This year for his birthday he decided to have a BBQ themed party. I think I had more fun making the cake than Blake did eating it. Making the birthday cakes is my most favorite thing about birthday parties.

I did 2 sets of cupcakes, hamburgers and hotdogs. The hamburgers were made of nilla wafers, grasshopper cookies and colored frosting. The hot dogs were made of circus peanuts, softened caramel and colored frosting for ketchup and mustard. Then I made a hamburger cake, corn on the cob made from cupcakes and a hot dog cake made from a loaf cake and twinkies.

The Fairbanks Pumpkin Patch

Every year we usually go to the pumpkin patch and it's a lot of fun...This year we were able to grow our OWN pumpkin patch. It was fun to watch the whole process. Landin would be proud to say that it was from a single pumpkin seed that he planted in a cup in Kindergarten and then transplanted to our back yard. We ended up with 9+ pumpkins and there are still more growing.

Haircut-updated

So I am going to get my hair cut today. This is the look I am going for, I wish I could look more like the model, but oh well:) I probablly won't go so heavy on the color, but close. I will post pics when I get home.

Halloween Craftiness

I love crafts and so this year I decided to make a couple Halloween decorations. They were so easy and fun to make! The kids especially like the "spooky" tree.

Yellowstone

This Fall we took a family trip to Yellowstone, it was so much fun. We were able to stay in a huge cabin in Mesa Falls and then spend the whole day in Yellowstone. IT doesn't get any better than that. Blake especially enjoyed it because it was his birthday, so we were able to celebrate that too!!

A view of the Grand Tetons

Blake had trick candles and this is one that came back and he had to blow it out AGAIN!

The cabin.
