3 weeks and counting

A toilet that has never been used, how wonderful!

Bathroom sinks and mirrors are in.

Our new address: 1057 S. Western Drive

Stone is on the outside.

Kitchen sink is in too!

Wow, so now we have been given the 17th of July as our closing date and the day we get our keys! Here are the updated pics. The stucco has been painted and the shingles have put on the roof. All the inside is done except the carpet and the appliances. It's lookin good!

Boise Zoo

A big, long giraffe slide.
Python eating dinner.

Kira eating a sucker, the only thing that would keep her quiet.

The boys with their cousin Caleb.

The coolest part of the Zoo was that we were able to see a Python get fed a rabbit. Kind've gross, but way cool according to my kids.

Trip to Boise

Kira enjoying time out of her carseat.

I ventured out and took a trip my sisters' house near Boise a couple weeks ago and now I am finally able to post a few pictures. On our way we stopped half way in Twin Falls to stretch our legs. We ended up stopping at a great spot that had a beautiful view.

Buds

I caught Jeren and Kira in the chair together, he was reading her a book. It was so cute! They are starting to become pretty good buds.

Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House

We had a great opportunity to go to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House last week, it was so beautiful. It was very special to be there together as a family. It helps put things back in perspective and to know the reason why we are here on this earth. I am so thankful to live close to so many temples!

This wasn't a great picture, but it works.

We got a ride from the parking lot, it was nice since it was really rainy.

Just a few weeks left!

The house is coming along so well! Our newest update is we now have cabinetry, countertops, everything is sheetrocked, light fixtures and the flooring is in except for the carpet. It has been so fun to watch the house be built, it is an experience we will never forget!

School Carnival

The boys had a carnival the last week of school and it was amazing! We are so used to Reno where we had to pay for our food plus pay to do anything. Here we all got a free dinner (hamburgers, hotdogs, bottle of water and chips) and the bounce houses, face painting, rock wall climbing, etc was all free. I could not believe it. We had such a good time.

This picture was so neat, Landin was just in mid air on the bounce house. He calls himself a jumping frog.

The local firemen came and let the kids spray other kids with the firehose.

Happy Anniversary!

Jesse and I just celebrated our 9th anniversary yesterday! I am such a horrible wife, I left town that day to visit my sister. Oh well, we went to lunch the day before to The Cheesecake Factory, so that made up for me not being there. And the weekend before we went to the outlets in Park City for the day. It's amazing how time flies! I love you!!!!!

Over Half Way!

Kira on the sheetrock, she thought that was pretty fun!

Well the house is over half way done. It is actually looking like a REAL house. These are pictures from last week. First is when the sheetrock was delivered and then when the sheetrock was up. They are so fast!! While working on the sheetrock the roof guys were there getting the shingles on. And the siding for the stucco was up too! Taken: June 2, 2009.

Happy 6th Birthday!

I can't believe Landin is already 6. I remember when he was just a tiny baby, like it was yesterday. His birth went as smooth as can be and he was so itty bitty. He was the first baby to actually look like me, Blake was a splitting image of his dad. Thank you for 6 wonderful years, I love you!!!

This was the first time Landin rode a bike without training wheels, he just decided one day to try it and he did it!

Silly Kiddos

On a daily basis I find Jeren and Kira playing in my Aunts' entertainment center. It's empty so it makes it so much fun.

Landin's last day

Landin was so excited to get done with school before Blake. On the last day they had games and popcycles. Here are just a few pics.

1 month old

Well the house is now 1 month old, in other words it has been 1 month since we dug the hole. It has all electrical wiring, windows, a porch, furnace and bathroom showers. It's getting more exciting everytime we see it. Soon the insulation will be in and they will begin the drywall and stucco on the outside!

Landin on the porch.

A window, yay!

Can lighting for the kitchen.

Memorial Day Weekend Fun- Part 2

A fun thing my dad does for the boys when we come is he hides polished rocks in a rock pile at the back of his property. We call it the "special" rock pile. It's really fun for the boys to dig (that's what they do best) and find something cool. My dads' grandfather used to do the same thing for him, execpt it was with real Indian arrow heads. He has the collection of arrow heads that he found in a display case, its really neat.
Look what I found mom!

Jeren's pretty rock.

Searching for the rocks in the "special" rock pile.

Grandma relaxing.

Gotta love the four wheeler, the funy thing about this four wheeler is that my family has owned it since I was around 10 yrs. old. And they are still runnin'.
