Last weekend we went for the first time (as a family) in Jesse's Jeep up Farmington Canyon. We had such a good time! The weather was beautiful and you have to love spending quality time together as a family. Here are a few pictures from the afternoon.

It's Great to be 8!

Now that Blake is 8 he is just having a blast with all the festivities. First being baptized then becoming a wolf scout! He was bumbed to learn that scouts is only once a week, how cute.

New Calling

So I have been called to be the Primary Chorister in my ward, I know, what are they thinking. I am scared to death!! I am usually the one that plays the piano, not be in charge and lead the music. If anyone has any ideas that could help me, please let me know, I need all the help I can get.

Blake's 8th Birthday

To start here is a picture of the birthday cake and the cupcakes. I talked Blake into have a camping theme birthday party, but no camping. There is no way I was going to have 10 little boys stay the night:) The cake is just a regualar sheet cake decorated green for the grass. The trees are sugar ice cream cones decorated green. The tent is a Smore pop tart cut in half. The fire is a twix candy bar for the logs, crushed grahmn cracker for the dirt, a fruit roll up for the fire flames and mini marshamallows on a toothpick for the smores. It turned out sooooo cute, Blake and his friends that it was the "coolest cake". Especially when I put the candles in the middle of the fire and lit them, it made it look like there really was a camp fire on the cake.

Landins' first official lost tooth

On our way back from Reno, Labor Day weekend Landin lost his first official tooth (in the car). He had one tooth that was just a little loose, well after biting on a chicken nugget it became really loose. He worked and worked at it, he was determined to have the tooth fairy come that night. Well he ended up pulling it out himself, he was so excited!

Alaska.... Finally

So I am finally posting pictures of our Alaska trip. We had so much fun, it was hard to come home. It's always nice to have a trip with your honey.

Lots and lots of FISHING! Jesse's favorite past time.

The fish we were catching were Pink salmon, all the ripples were fish in the water. HUNDREDS! You could just snag em'.
