I seriously can't believe Blake is 9! He is everything I ever wanted for a first child. He is kind, gentle, thoughtful, smart, funny, athletic and so many more. And best of all he is a great example to his brothers and sister.
This year for his birthday he decided to have a BBQ themed party. I think I had more fun making the cake than Blake did eating it. Making the birthday cakes is my most favorite thing about birthday parties.
I did 2 sets of cupcakes, hamburgers and hotdogs. The hamburgers were made of nilla wafers, grasshopper cookies and colored frosting. The hot dogs were made of circus peanuts, softened caramel and colored frosting for ketchup and mustard. Then I made a hamburger cake, corn on the cob made from cupcakes and a hot dog cake made from a loaf cake and twinkies.

Cari, you are so talented! I LOVE those cakes...amazing! Jeron got a chocolate death cake from Costco this year...that's what he wanted! AND we were in the middle of moving, so it worked out well for me. Wish we could be there for all of your fun parties! Miss you!
